Born in Texas to a rocket scientist and a kindergarten teacher, Wendy moved to Colorado at the ripe age of seven and promptly fell in love with the outdoors. A graduate of Colorado State University, she now calls Utah home—surrounded by ski resorts, hiking trails, rivers, and a lake. She shares this mountain paradise with her husband, a Siberian husky and Swiss shepherd. A fledgling empty nester and mother of three sons, she spends much of her time writing, and the rest traveling, skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, baking, and indulging in the occasional hurkle-durkle session.

A multi-published author with Disney and Simon & Schuster, Wendy's novels have earned numerous awards and bestseller recognition. Her storytelling is emotionally resonant and characther-driven, spanning IP, series, and original stand-alone work.

Presently developing feature films, she explores identity, connection, and moral complexity—often through female-driven stories marked by emotional stakes. Her screenplays seek to widen the lens, spark conversation, and remind us who we are.
